Conscious Breathing

Breath is the first movement of life and is our vital companion - it's a natural rhythm that connects us with our Divinity and anchors us into Mother Earth’s pulse.  Breath is everywhere…. breath is life….breath is sacred….breath is movement....breath is essential....breath awakens the wisdom within our bones.  Every cell longs to experience a wonderful feeling of Aliveness - it’s like liquid light opening us to experience ecstatic states of pleasure.

Breathing  consciously helps to release emotional wounds, negative thought forms and trauma imprints that are locked deep within the cellular memory of our DNA. Unresolved trauma can lead to dysfunctional patterns and dis-ease. Overtime, these patterns can become stuck in the recesses of our musculature causing tension, chronic pain and discomfort.  With conscious breathing comes an awareness that allows for rigid and restrictive areas in the body to soften and relax so that Harmony can be restored.

The breath is not meant to be controlled - Relax and feel yourself surrendering as you breathe....inhale….hold it for a few seconds.....exhale….ahhhhh….let go and release any tension that you may be holding…..create space inside for the breath to enter and fill the places that long for openness and freedom.

"It is paramount that we breathe with conscious intent, for intention creates. Every breath exhaled consciously or unconsciously creates our Universe. When the mind thinks the body automatically inhales, and when the body exhales, it automatically provides the necessary catalyst motion to transform thought into material form.  Conscious breathing awakens inner wisdom and connects us to all that is. It opens our heart to feel unconditional love, brings clarity to the mind and opens the body to feel pleasure deeply and fully. Honor your breath….allow it to flow….be present with it." - Elithe Manuha'aipo Kahn
